When playing the Defuse mode of Critical Ops, you will have to remain vigilant and constantly consult the map showing the positions of your team and your opponents. This map is located on the top-left corner of the screen. If you are a part of the terrorist faction in this FPS game, you will have to kill the members of the counter-terrorism force and help your team in successfully planting the bomb. On the other hand, if you are a member of the counter-terrorism force, defusing the bomb will be your top priority. The choice of joining other team is provided at the start of the game.

The controls of the game are pretty simple. There is a navigation wheel present on the bottom-left corner of the screen which can be used for moving your character in any direction. The shoot button is located towards the right-hand side along with options for ducking and jumping up. There is a reload option also available just above the jumping option.

In the Deathmatch mode of Critical Ops, you have to stay alert and be quick in dispatching the enemy before they take you out. The more enemy combatants you kill, the higher will be your team’s score. You have to aim your pistol or rifle on your opponent and then click the shoot button to start firing. There is a message option available that you can use for chatting with the members of your team. At the end of the game, you will be given a statistical analysis of how you and your team members performed during the game and which team came out on top.
